Teenage Mothers Society - Hope for a better future Kenya's national teenage pregnancy prevalence rate stands at 18%. Statistics from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) indicate that between June 2016 and July 2017, 378,397 adolescents in Kenya aged 10 to 19 got pregnant.At Rangi Yetu, we work with teenage mothers in under-served communities in Kenya to empower the young mothers through life skills and entrepreneurship training.Our main programs under the Rangi Yetu Teenage Mothers Society are:Back to School missionTable banking.We also work with teenagers in partnership with education institutions to sensitize the young girls on reproductive health matters as well as sex education as a preventative program against teenage pregnancies.
